Q: How long do I have to complete the assessment?
A: There is no time limit to complete the test. You can take as long as needed to complete it.

Q: When can I take the assessment?
A: PESC is an online assessment. You are able to access and complete the test at any time. Please note that it will take 1 business day upon completion of your order to receive access to the test. An email from Customer Service will be sent with instructions.

Q: How long is the window to take the test once it is available?
A: You have 3 months to complete the test, including one test retake if needed.

Q: How many questions must I answer correctly to pass?
A: You must successfully answer 80% of questions in order to pass.

Q: If I don’t pass the assessment, is there an opportunity to take it again? If so, is there a waiting period?
A: Yes, one test retake is included in your enrollment fee. You must wait 1 day to retake the test.

Q: Is this a certification?
A: No, this is a certificate. At this time, we have not contracted with an accrediting body for national certification. We are working to change PESC to a certification within the year. If you have earned the certificate, you will automatically receive certification.
