Overview
This course covers CPT code assignment for professional services in the cardiovascular system. This module is designed to support participants with understanding of CPT guidelines and code assignment for a variety of surgical cardiovascular services.
At the completion of this module the participant will be able to:
- Identify basic cardiovascular anatomy
- Identify CPT and HCPCS II Modifiers
- Assign CPT codes for pacemakers/defibrillators and valve repairs
