The American Medical Association’s 2023 update to the CPT® Manual, set to take effect January 1, includes over 200 new codes, 75 deletions, and almost 100 revisions. The most significant change is the addition of new codes and guidance for reporting observation care visits, emergency department visits, consultations, and other evaluation and management (E/M) services. Coders will also find new codes for percutaneous arteriovenous fistulas, pulmonary artery stenting, and abdominal hernia repair procedures.
Join expert speaker Shannon E. McCall, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, CRC, CCDS, CCDS-O, for this 90-minute webinar as she describes newly reportable procedures, guideline changes, add-on codes, and deleted and revised codes. The presentation will be followed by a live Q&A.
