The PESC is awarded after passing a 50-question assessment that will test your knowledge and understanding of the various enrollment forms, specific terms and definitions, compliance risks and penalties, and the PECOS enrollment process. You must successfully answer 80% of questions in order to pass.

A: This is not a timed test. You can take as long as you need to answer each question.
Q: When can I take the assessment?
A: PESC is an online assessment. You can access and complete the test at any time during the access period you are given. Please note that it will take one business day upon completion of your order to receive access to the test. An email from Customer Service will be sent with instructions.
Q: How long is the window to take the test once it is available?
A: You have three months to complete the test, including one test retake if needed.
Q: How many questions must I answer correctly to pass?
A: You must successfully answer 40 out of 50 questions (80%) to pass.
Q: If I don’t pass the assessment, is there an opportunity to take it again? If so, is there a waiting period?
A: Yes, one test retake is included in your enrollment fee. You must wait one day to retake the test.
